Your VA Benefits Navigator: Committed to Supporting Veterans
A Lifetime Dedicated to Service
My journey began as an Army "brat," traveling and living on bases throughout the United States, Europe, and North Africa. This upbringing instilled a deep respect for veterans and a commitment to serving those who served.
Later, marrying a United States Marine further solidified my connection to the military community. Today, I'm proud to be a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 574 in Moreno Valley, California.
Bridging the Gap for Veterans' Needs
Throughout my life, I've witnessed firsthand the challenges veterans face in accessing the benefits they deserve. The complexities of the VA system and the lack of clear communication can leave veterans feeling frustrated and unsure.
That's where we come in. We understand the unique needs of veterans and their families. We speak your language and are here to help navigate the benefits landscape, ensuring you receive the support you've earned.

Question of the Month
How do I access specialty care or services not available at my local VA facility?
If your local VA doesn't offer the specific care you need, or if wait times are too long, or you have to travel a significant distance to get an appointment at a VA facility; you may qualify for Community Care. This program allows eligible Veterans to get care from non-VA providers.
• Eligibility: Determine if you meet the criteria for Community Care.
• Approval Process: Get authorization from the VA before scheduling appointments with a community provider. This is to ensure you receive quality care that meets VA standards.
To see if you qualify or to start the process, talk to your VA care coordinator or the Referral Coordination Team at your local VA facility. They can guide you through the steps and help you find the care you need.
